color me kraft

Trying to make more kraft journals. I'm not really digging the watercolor on kraft look ... though I do love those two things separately. Together the colors aren't able to retain their vibrancy... time to experiment more! Stay tuned for these journals being sold in the shop.

Thank you for your patience!

today is a beautiful day

Moleskin (kraft) journal I watercolored yesterday and put on my etsy but it already sold! Sorries. Will try to get more up though!

New card set in shop!

I am too idealistic. I thought I would have several sets up by now, but with finals looming overhead, I've only had time to make one! My apologies. But here it is, in the shop!

It's a summer-theme card set WITH really cute envelopes that I made from cute paper I found. Sorry there aren't images of the envelopes, I will try to post those today. Anyways, all the cards are hand-painted and one-of-a-kind.

Feedback appreciated! :)

What images come to mind when you think of summer?

Sneak peak

With the weekend coming around the corner, I'm trying to squeeze in time to paint here and there and make more card sets.

Here's a nibble (just a taste) of the set I just made (it's a summer themed card set):

They shall be unveiled on Friday! Let me know what you think!

Inspired!

Hello!

Hope you all had a blessed Sunday :). I'm excited to say that I sold my first item on etsy!

I'm encouraged to make more things, and I just wanted to let you all (like... 2 of you) know that I'm already in the process of making more card sets :). I'll post some this week (hopefully), but I'm also going to be very busy planning a birthday celebration for my signficant other :). Hopefully when I'm more free I can start making other things as well.

Meanwhile... I'm totally enjoying Tara Donne's work, especially her food shots (i'm forever a foodie at heart).

As always, I would love if you said hello!

etsy baby born!

I've done it. I've opened an etsy shop. I've wanted to for the past 2 years, but never found the time to. And I was scared of rejection as well. This past week I told myself to suck it up and be a part of the community!

I only have one item being sold right now, but if that goes well, then I'll definitely add more! I'm selling a set of hand-watercolored cards. Be sure to check it out and let me know what you think!

sickly thank-you's

It's a beautiful Thursday afternoon and I'm sick inside. Eating things I shouldn't be eating. (Like cookies with chocolate in the center). Doing things I shouldn't be doing.
(Like watercolor-ing thank-you's instead of doing work).

Some sneakpeaks:

Sorry I can't show more, or it'd give it away to the people i'm making it for..

My inspiration? Things in my room:

(My birthday bouquet mostly... still going on strong! And no, your eyes aren't deceiving you, my lamp is tilted because it's broken.)

I feel a headache coming on... back to bed. But I'm thankful God is giving me rest today! :)

These are the days when I wish I was 7 again, in the arms of my mother, eating congee. What did your mothers/father/grandparents/etc. do for you when you were sick as a child?
