Cho-cho

Hello all. I have a cat. Her name is cho cho. I drew a picture of what she looks like (except she's skinnier and more shy). She has white feet. I love her.

I might change her name to Oliver even though she's a lady. I'm sure she won't know the difference. Have a nice day.

The Harbinger Co.

If you know me, you know that I hate small clusters of holes or weird things. That's why I felt confused when I saw these today:

They're so amazingly intricate and cool but I can't decide if I like them or not because they're pushing it a bit for being too clustery for my liking. Especially that yellow box! I want it and at the same time I want it far away from me. Hahaa.

New card set in shop!

I am too idealistic. I thought I would have several sets up by now, but with finals looming overhead, I've only had time to make one! My apologies. But here it is, in the shop!

It's a summer-theme card set WITH really cute envelopes that I made from cute paper I found. Sorry there aren't images of the envelopes, I will try to post those today. Anyways, all the cards are hand-painted and one-of-a-kind.

Feedback appreciated! :)

What images come to mind when you think of summer?

Olive Manna!

A while back I did a friend's save-the-dates, and she gave me a gift card to Olive Manna to thank me (thank you Charissa!). I'm sad that I can't make it to her wedding because of my horrible finals schedule, but I know it will be such a joyful occasion for her :).

Some things from Natalie Jost's Olive Manna shop that are absolutely adorable!

I'm still trying to decide what to get...everything looks so cute! I'm definitely a sucker for those wooden button magnets :). What do you guys think?

SD natural history museum

One of the things I love about San Diego: Free Museum Tuesdays at Balboa Park! Every tuesday (depending on which week of the month it is), there is a selection of free museums! I went with a friend this Tuesday to the Natural History Museum. It definitely pales in comparison to the one in LA, but hey, it's free!

fishy face!

I didn't know paleontologists doubled as baristas!

I'm a big big fan of maps!

I made her do this. What are friends for?

ming makes cupcakes

Ming makes cupcakes and I drool over them. I love that she photographed them so that we could see inside their yummy bellies. She even has her creative recipes posted next to each cupcake!

What's your favorite? What kind of cupcakes do you gravitate towards?
