when the holiday rolls around, eyes get bigger and budgets get tighter. we are on a super tight budget this holiday season, but i couldn't let it stop me from decorating for the holidays!
i saw this chandelier amanda of 100layercake made and absolutely loved it so i decided to make my own! all in all it's a lovely (and very cheap) diy to spruce up your home, especially if you have eucalyptus around your area. all i purchased was an embroidery hoop (for about a dollar at michael's) and used some wire to attach the branches to the hoop. voila!

I absolutely LOVE this idea. Simple, inexpensive, but so effective. I definitely want to try it myself!
This is so fresh, love it!
This looks so simple and beautiful, Connie! I love it. I'm trying to think of substitute branches in Oregon... or maybe this is something to save for the spring?! xo
@linnea That sounds beautiful! I think it would look great with branches, you'd probably just have to wind it around the actual hoop to hide it more.
LOVE this!! It seems easy enough for someone like me to do! I have been wanting a chandelier for our dining room. Maybe I should give this one a try.
